You will fly
from the U.S. on Wednesday, June 13 (on your own)
and arrive in Budapest in the
early morning of June 14. Transfer on your own
to the Mercure Budapest
Namzeti Hotel for a three night stay.
Budapest is a most seductive
city divided into two parts by the Danube River
. Ottoman, baroque and art-nouveau styles offer
an array of eclectic architecture. Hills, islands,
and parks coexist with cafes, theater, monuments
and castles. Also a must see are one of the famous
historic thermal baths built by the Roman and
Ottoman Empires. Our hotel is located in the heart
of the Pest side which is where most of the dining
and night life options are located.
After our three exciting nights in Budapest
, we will take a 2 hour train ride (first
class tickets) to Vienna .
We should arrive in Vienna by
early afternoon and have time to explore the city.
During our stay in Vienna we
will be staying at the very centrally located
four star Sofitel Hotel.
Vienna today is a modern capital robed
in 18 th century charm and 19 th century grandeur.
The Viennese invented the café society
and continue to perfect the art of relaxation.
The heart of Vienna is
the ancient streets and hidden courtyards around
St Stephen's Cathedral, a short walk from our
hotel. While in Vienna take
in a Mozart opera at the Staatbrunn or a performance
of the Lippizaner Stallions or the Vienna Boy's
Choir
We depart Vienna in the early
morning by private motor coach to Prague.
Our guests will be in for a special treat as we
stop in the most picturesque town of Czesky
Krumlov , a fairy tale
town not even Disney could dream up. After a few
hour stop, we continue on to Prague .
We will enjoy four nights in this most magical
city. The K&K Central Hotel,
located stepst away from Old Town will be our
home away from home. Prague
is often favorably compared to Paris for it's
shear beauty. Gothic and Baroque spires, art nouveau
facades and even cubism lent to it's reputation
as the City of One Hundred Spires. The city itself
is one landmark, monument and historic building
after another. The highlights include Charles
Bridge , Castle Hill and the Jewish Quarter.
